Claudio Di Cocco (Lawyer, Founding Partner)
Graduated in Law (110/110) at the University of Bologna, Italy, he obtained a PhD in "Legal Informatics and Information Technology Law" at the same University.
Distinguished Visiting Research Scholar at Boston College Law School (Boston, Massachusetts, US.).
Italian qualified lawyer, member of the Bologna Bar Association, he provides legal assistance and consultancy to individuals, public bodies and national and multinational companies, particularly in the field of Information technology law and Commercial law.
He has held important consultancy roles for primary national and multinational bodies and companies, including the position of "Data Protection Officer" (DPO).
At the University of Bologna he is lecturer, coordinator and member of the Scientific Council of the University Master Course "New Technologies Law and Legal Informatics", as well as lecturer at the University Master Course "Personal Data Processing and Privacy Officer" (Cirsfid-Alma AI of the University of Bologna).
Former RTD researcher in Legal Informatics (SSD Ius/20) at the Department of Legal Sciences of the University of Bologna, he teaches courses and seminars on computer law and legal informatics and he is author of monographs, essays and articles on computer law and legal informatics.
Founder member of the Italian Society of Legal Informatics - ISLI.
